However it was my understanding that there was no capitol punishment in Japan. <br/> <br/>I don't know of statistics there but I did read one story of a digruntled bank employee in Japan who poisoned to death like a dozen coworkers and died having set the record for being the person to live the longest on death-row at some 40-odd years.
